JGM was selected to provide turnkey services to relocate 16 pre-cast concrete classrooms. These classrooms were needed for additional space for a local high school during the new construction and renovations of their existing facilities. JGM provided engineering, project management, labor and equipment for the rigging and transportation to relocate the 85,000 lb. units ten miles down the road. These units were relocated to two different middle schools within the school district to increase student body capacity for a few years. This involved a great deal of detailed planning to ensure that we could move all units within a seven-day period. We coordinated with the different municipalities and power companies to ensure a smooth move to the new sites. All 16 units were transported and reassembled on time and under budget, allowing students to move in just in time for the new school year.
