JGM was contacted by Perley-Halladay to provide all of the structural steel, grating, girts, and miscellaneous iron for Tasty Baking’s new freezer facility expansion. We worked with the specialty panel manufacturer to coordinate the girt system to which panels would attach. Because we were working directly beside the shipping and receiving loading docks, it was very important that JGM’s erection crews worked with Tasty Baking’s operations team to coordinate deliveries throughout the job. Not only was this a major logistical challenge to overcome, but we also had to work together to keep both Tasty Baking’s and JGM’s personnel safe at all times. We are proud to say that this job was completed on time with no injuries.
